Experience
Dr Chia Yee Tien is an obstetrics and gynaecology (O&G) specialist currently practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. Dr Chia’s sub-specialty is in maternal-foetal medicine.
Dr Chia graduated from the National University of Singapore with the MBBS in 1985 and the Master of Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) in 1990. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. She also has a Certificate of Specialist Registration from the Singapore Medical Council (1998).
Dr Chia was formerly a lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, National University of Singapore, and a senior registrar at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, National University Hospital.
Having been in private practice since 1995, Dr Chia offers the full range of obstetrics care including prenatal diagnosis with first trimester screening, amniocentesis, detailed ultrasound scan of the foetus and delivery. She performs colposcopy, laparoscopy and open gynaecological surgery as well.
