Experience
Dr Lee Eu Jin is an orthopaedic surgeon practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. He specialises in joint reconstruction and sports surgery for the hip and knee, joint replacement surgery, including total hip replacement, total and partial knee replacement. He is also able to perform arthroscopic key-hole surgery, arthroscopic ligament reconstruction of the knee, minimally invasive techniques, and computer aided surgery.
Dr Lee is actively involved in international specialist surgeon training for joint replacement surgery and lectures as a senior clinical lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Dr Lee graduated from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine, London (UK) in 2002 and completed his specialist training in 2010. He obtained his Master of Medicine (Orthopaedics) from NUS in 2007 and the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Orthopaedics & Trauma) in 2010. He spent his fellowship in Bern, Switzerland, at the Inselspital (University of Bern), Klinik Sonnenhof and at the MEM Research Centre.
Dr Lee has worked closely with the orthopaedic industry in the development of new implants and techniques. He was part of the team in the development of the Dynamic Intraligamental Stabilisation system for anterior cruciate ligament repairs with Mathys European Orthopaedics. This revolutionary technique in cruciate ligament treatment is currently undergoing a Phase 3 evaluation in Europe and he hopes to be the first to bring this technique to Asia.
Prior to joining Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Dr Lee was a consultant with Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He has presented in numerous international meetings and has also published in peer-reviewed journals.
