Goh 医生于 1988 年在新加坡国立大学获得医学学士和外科学士学位。她在新加坡国家心脏中心主修内科学，并进一步专攻心脏科。之后，她在美国俄亥俄州克利夫兰诊所 (Cleveland Clinic) 接受超声心动图亚专业培训。她还是美国运动医学学院 (American College of Sports Medicine) 认证的临床运动专科医生。
2007 年至 2012 年期间，Goh 医生曾担任樟宜综合医院心脏内科主任。她是急性心肌梗塞临床项目的主要推动者，该项目为心脏病发作患者提供先进而全面的护理。
Goh 医生是新加坡国立大学杨潞龄医学院的兼任助理教授。她是心脏专科医生培训住院医师资格认证委员会成员、新加坡心脏基金会（Singapore Heart Foundation）医学总监，也是提高公众对心脏病和中风认识的 Go Red For Women 活动的官方发言人。
