Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation

Mount Elizabeth Hospital was first accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI) in 2006, and Mount Elizabeth Novena in 2013. The accreditation and certification fromJCI is recognized as the Gold Seal of Approval® for international quality standards for patient care and organization management.

JCI is an affiliate of the most trusted name in accreditation. Their standards represent a worldwide consensus on quality patient care that reflects state-of-the-art health care practices and health care delivery trends. JCI also has a three-year accreditation cycle to ensure that its list of awardees are regularly updated, and that their standards are strictly maintained.

In giving due recognition to organizations which comply with international health care quality standards, the JCI achieves its objective of helping organizations strive to attain the highest performance possible, improving patient outcomes and creating an environment for continuous improvement.
