Experience

Dr Shanna Ng is a dermatologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.

She is experienced in general, aesthetic and laser dermatology, and her subspecialty is in paediatric dermatology and eczema.

Dr Ng is also experienced in laser treatments for birthmarks, treating eczema and psoriasis, providing allergy tests, and in general cosmetic dermatology.

Prior to private practice, she was a consultant in Changi General Hospital (CGH).

She completed her advanced specialist training in dermatology at the National Skin Center and CGH. She was awarded the Eastern Health Alliance Human Manpower Development Programme Fellowship sponsorship and pursued her subspecialty training in paediatric dermatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, USA. She also did a short observership with the paediatric dermatology department at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.

Dr Ng was a clinical assistant professor in SingHealth Duke-NUS Medicine Academic Clinical Programme.

Dr Ng contributed to the textbooks Pediatric Dermatology (4th edition), Atlas of Asian Pediatric Dermatology (currently in press), and Pediatric Skin of Color. She was also the principal and sub-investigator for trials studying the efficacy and safety of biologics in moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.
