Dr Ho Chee Khun is a renal physician at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
He specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and management of various kidney conditions such as blood in the urine, kidney inflammation, hypertension-associated kidney problems, end-stage kidney failure, and kidney transplantation.
He headed the renal disease retardation programme at the National University Hospital (NUH). Dr Ho also was the former director of the peritoneal dialysis programme at NUH, and associate director of the national renal disease retardation programme. He has more than 20 years of experience in renal medicine.
Following his graduation from medical school in 1989, Dr Ho completed his basic specialist training in internal medicine in 1994 and his advanced specialty training in renal medicine/nephrology in 1997. Subsequently, he was awarded a scholarship to further his training in Melbourne, Australia, where he was mentored by distinguished faculties at Monash University and respected members of the medical community in Australia.
Dr Ho is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of UK, a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, UK and a fellow of the Academy of Medicine.
He is involved in research in dialysis and kidney inflammation. He has collaborated with renowned international researchers on several award-winning research projects and has often been invited to speak at various regional nephrology meetings.
