Dr Victor Keng is a general surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital and Parkway East Hospital, Singapore.
His specialty is in colorectal, particularly in endoscopic techniques such as colonic stenting and endorectal ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of rectal cancers.
He was a former consultant in a government hospital.
Dr Keng graduated from the National University of Singapore. He completed his fellowship examinations from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK. He started to take an interest in colorectal surgery and began to focus his advanced surgical training at the Singapore General Hospital’s department of colorectal surgery. He went to train at the University of Hull, UK.
He is a member of the American Society of Colorectal Surgeons.
In the non-medical field, Dr Keng is a volunteer promoting the lives of people with deafness in Singapore. He interprets in sign language for the deaf and received an award from the Ministry of Community Development and Sports.
