Dr Marilyn Lee is an endocrinologist practising in Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore.
She has a clinical interest in managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis and reproductive endocrine disorders. She is also experienced in managing general endocrine conditions including pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, lipid disorders and calcium disorders.
Dr Lee graduated from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine, United Kingdom. She trained in internal medicine at Barts Health NHS Trust and later embarked on her endocrinology training in Singapore and was accredited as a specialist in endocrinology by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
She was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan Scholarship by MOH to train in reproductive endocrinology at the University College Hospital, London, and KK Hospital, Singapore. Upon her return, she helped with the set-up of the reproductive endocrine service at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH).
Dr Lee is passionate about teaching and was the associate programme director of the endocrine residency programme at KTPH. She also served as adjunct assistant professor in medicine at NUS’ Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She is currently a committee member of the Chapter of Endocrinologists (Academy of Medicine, Singapore) and a board member in clinical capacity of ADVANTAGE Endocrine Centre (India).
