  • Dr Lim Ing Haan is an experienced interventional cardiologist currently practicing in Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. She has more than 15 years of practice in the field of cardiology and more than 20 years of clinical experience. Dr Lim is US board certified in interventional cardiology. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and also the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
  • Dr Lim was awarded Health Manpower Development Program Award from the Ministry of Health to undertake further specialized training in Interventional Cardiology in 2005. She underwent specialist training in Interventional Cardiology in an ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, USA) accredited position at the Duke University Medical Centre, where she was trained in the latest advances in the field including Excimer Laser Atherectomy, Rotational Atherectomy, Percutaneous valve repairs from 2005-2006.
  • Dr Lim Ing Haan was the Director of the Cardiac Interventional Laboratories in Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 2008-9 and helped set up the 24 hour, 7 days a week acute heart attack Interventional service together with the busiest Emergency Department in Singapore in 2008. In recognition of her professional and research achievements, Dr Lim was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Cardiology) in 2009, Fellow of Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2010, Fellow of American College of Cardiology in 2009, Fellow of American Society of Cardiovascular Interventions in 2010, Fellow of the Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology in 2011 and Fellow of the Indonesian Heart Association in 2015.
  • Dr Lim’s expertise is in complex coronary angioplasty and stenting and the use of coronary imaging – intravascular ultrasound, OCT, OFDI and FFR and rotablation if needed. The radial approach is preferred and used in 99% of her patients. She also performs peripheral intervention, renal denervation and mitral valvuloplasty.
  • Aside from her clinical work, Dr Lim maintains a keen interest in research and teaching. Dr Lim has published many research papers in internationally recognised scientific journals. Dr Lim is also an adjunct faculty with the Duke–NUS School of Medicine and was a commissioning editor of HeartAsia, published by BMJ. Dr Lim Ing Haan's achievements are recognised both locally and internationally. She has been invited as faculty to participate in many local and international interventional cardiology meetings, including AsiaPCR/SingLive, AICT, ASMIHA in Indonesia and Kamakura Course in Japan. Dr Lim also gets invitations to perform in proctorship in Myanmar, Vietnam and China. Dr Lim is currently the chairman of the Credentials Committee of Mount Elizabeth Hospital and serves on the Medical Advisory Board of Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
