  • Dr Lim Chong Hee is a cardiothoracic surgeon practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore. His clinical interests include treatment of the heart and organs in the chest, and implantation of mechanical heart assist devices for heart/lung failure and heart/lung transplantation.
  • Dr Lim graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1990. Thereafter, he became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK in 1994. He then furthered his training in cardiothoracic surgery at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA from 1999 – 2001, where he trained among cardiothoracic experts. As of 2002, Dr Lim has been a fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore.
  • Dr Lim is a visiting consultant to the National Heart Centre, Singapore. He is a member of the Chapter of Cardiothoracic Surgeons in the College of Surgeons, Singapore. There, he has served in various positions, such as honorary secretary from 2005 – 2009 and chairman from 2009 – 2013. He is also a member of the Singapore Thoracic Society.
  • Aside from clinical work, Dr Lim was a senior lecturer and an adjunct associate professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School. He also lectures at regional and international conferences.
