Dr Irene Alban is a medical advisor at IHH Healthcare Singapore.
She is a key member of the case management team that is primarily involved in streamlining the patient journey from pre-admission to post-discharge follow-up. This helps insured members enjoy a seamless and cashless end-to-end experience so they can focus on their health rather than the claim process. By ensuring patients receive evidence-based, cost-effective care best suited to their needs, the team supports the provision of exemplary care in a sustainable way.
Prior to joining IHH Healthcare, Dr Irene was a medical advisor for a diplomatic health office, where she focused on the analysis of treatment approvals and adjudication of claims.
Dr Irene has also worked in regulatory affairs as a liaison between the company and different local authorities such as MOH, HAS, AVA (now SFA), NEA, and IPOS and other government offices in Southeast Asia and Australia.
