Dr Chan Po Fun is a cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
Her focus is on women’s heart health, heart failure, cardio-oncology and preventive cardiology. She is known for her warm approach and clear communication, helping patients understand and manage their heart health with confidence.
Previously, Dr Chan led the heart failure service and cardiac diagnostic lab at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, where she developed award-winning care programmes.
She trained at the National University Hospital and holds international certifications in echocardiography and heart failure. She is skilled in 3D echocardiography, strain imaging, transesophageal and stress echocardiography. She also holds a certification in heart failure from the Heart Failure Association of the ESC and a testamur from the National Board of Echocardiography, USA.
Dr Chan is also faculty member of the Cardiology Senior Residency Programme, where she mentored doctors, students, nurses, and technicians.
She is also a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and is a multiple Service Ambassador Award recipient for excellence in patient care.
At her practice, Dr Chan combines her expertise in advanced cardiac imaging with a strong commitment to personalised, compassionate care, especially for women and cancer survivors navigating heart health challenges.
