Our culinary and dietetic teams provide nourishing, well-balanced meals each day. To support your recovery, our chefs can customise a menu for you based on your physician’s dietary recommendations.
Executive Chef Wong Boo Hor
Our Executive Chef, Wong Boo Hor, brings with him close to 4 decades of experience in the culinary landscape in Asia. Chef Wong has held notable positions in both local and international hotels in Asia, including Rendezvous Hotel Singapore and Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore.
He has led teams to various hotels in Asia to promote Singapore’s cuisine, including China and Thailand.
Prior to heading the culinary team at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Chef Wong was the Executive Chef at Shangri-La Fuzhou.
Today, he leads a team of professional chefs who are committed to providing you with a healing gastronomic experience that includes contemporary interpretations of European, Japanese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian cuisine.

Nursing services
A nursing call handset will be placed by your bed, connecting you to our nursing staff 24 hours a day. Additional call bells are located in our bathrooms.
If you require the services of a private nurse, our ward staff can assist you in contacting a private nursing agency.
Housekeeping and laundry services
Your room will be cleaned daily by a member of our housekeeping team.
If you wish to have your clothes washed, pressed or dry-cleaned during your stay, simply let our ward staff know. We can arrange this for you at a charge.

Your doctor may refer you to our team of accredited dietitians for a dietary consultation. Your initial consultation will take place in your room and include:
- A diet evaluation
- Nutritional assessment
- Diet counselling
- Customised daily meal plan
- A dietary handout
Your dietitian will conduct follow-up visits and provide assistance with meal orders, special food preferences and modifications during your stay. Before you are discharged, you will receive advice on how to continue managing your diet at home.
Bedside telephones are available in all of our wards for your convenience.
All outgoing calls are chargeable and will be included in your final bill.
Your safety and security are our utmost priority. Our in-house security provides 24-hour coverage, both on patrol and through constant monitoring of public areas through closed-circuit surveillance equipment.
